Andy and Piers here, and we’re absolutely buzzing with excitement as we finally get to share the big announcement we’ve been teasing for the last week.

If you’ve caught any of our recent hints, you’ll know that we’ve been working behind the scenes. We’ve been gearing up for a fresh start to 2025 with a massive shake-up in our major equipment partnership. We’ve let you speculate, we’ve dropped the odd clue on social media, and we’ve seen your guesses rolling in. Now, the wait is over, and we’re more than ready to let you in on the news:

We’re partnering with Titleist!

If you’ve been around the golf world for any length of time, then Titleist is a name you’ve undoubtedly heard and probably seen a million times. There’s something almost magical about spotting one of their iconic golf balls in your bag or finding one in the rough during a round – it’s like stumbling upon a hidden gem that you can’t wait to put into play.

For us, Titleist isn’t just a brand that has been around forever; it’s a symbol of quality, tradition, and relentless innovation, which are all the qualities we value so highly here at Me and My Golf.

Piers and I have always been meticulous when it comes to selecting partners, especially equipment brands, because we believe there’s no one-size-fits-all solution in golf. It’s so important for us to represent companies that align with our values and mission. After all, we aren’t just looking to attach our name to a popular brand, we want to ensure that whoever we team up with shares our passion for helping golfers improve, from total beginners to seasoned pros.

With Titleist, we found exactly that.

Every conversation, every piece of equipment we tested, and every moment spent learning about their approach to the game confirmed that this would be the perfect fit for us.

We couldn’t be more excited to show you exactly what this Titleist partnership looks like, and we’ve recorded a special video that dives deep into all the reasons we decided to join forces with Titleist.
In it, you’ll see us chat about how we came to this decision, what the fitting process involved, and why this partnership is going to shape the future of Me and My Golf in ways we can’t wait for you to experience. The video should be right here for you to watch, so make sure you check it out to get the full story straight from us. We’ve always believed in transparency, and sharing this journey with you is something we truly value.

Now, let’s talk about the testing, meetings, and fittings that made all of this Titleist partnership possible.

It’s one thing to hear from a brand about how their clubs and balls can revolutionize your performance, but it’s another to step onto the fitting tee at the Titleist Performance Institute in California and witness the results firsthand.

The level of detail they go into is incredible. We don’t want to spoil anything just yet but we can say that Titleist ensures you walk away with a set of clubs and balls that feels like they were made just for you. We’ve both been through our fair share of fittings over the years, but the experience we had with Titleist genuinely stood out. There’s an art and a science to what they do, and it reinforced our conviction that this was the right move.

Starting in January 2025, you’ll see us proudly using our new Titleist equipment. Whether we’re out filming instructional tips, competing on the course, or simply playing a casual round with friends, we’ll have Titleist golf balls and clubs in our hands.

There’s something really special about being able to say that every drive we hit, every approach shot we take, and every putt we line up will be backed by the same technology and performance standards that have made Titleist an industry leader.

We’re both so excited to see how this influences not only our own games, but also the insights we can offer you through our coaching content.

One thing we’re particularly eager to share is the behind-the-scenes footage from our fitting sessions. We captured so many moments that showcase the entire process, from the data-gathering stage to those ‘a-ha’ moments when the perfect club was placed in our hands. We firmly believe that understanding how custom fitting works can be a game-changer for anyone looking to sharpen their skills. If you’ve ever wondered what the difference is between just grabbing any old club off the rack and finding the one that truly complements your swing, keep an eye out for the upcoming videos. We’ll walk you through everything we learned, and hopefully inspire you to consider a fitting of your own.

Looking forward, we’re convinced that this partnership with Titleist will bring you, our Me and My Golf members, fresh perspectives, better tips, and an elevated golf coaching experience overall. Every time we shoot a new video or test out a new Titleist product, we’ll be thinking about how we can translate that into value for you.

Our goal is always to help you play your best, most enjoyable golf yet, and we can’t wait to see how this new gear and our collective knowledge come together to make that happen. Your support, as always, means the world to us, and we hope you’ll share in our excitement as we embark on this new chapter.

We also encourage you to keep a close watch on our social channels in the coming months.

Together with Titleist, we have plenty of special plans brewing for the 2025 golf season. From interactive Q&A sessions, to giveaways, to potential meetups and practice round adventures, there’s a lot on the horizon that we think will make this year extra memorable.

We’ve always loved connecting with you all, whether that’s through messages, livestreams, or impromptu Instagram chats, and we look forward to deepening those connections with our new partner by our side.

If there are any Titleist pros that you want to see us team up with in a video this year, jump over to our socials and let us know!

Thank you again, sincerely, for joining us on this journey.

We wouldn’t be here without you, and we mean it when we say that your enthusiasm and feedback keep us motivated every single day. We’re thrilled about what’s next, and we’re so happy to be taking these steps hand in hand with a brand that we admire and trust.

Keep following along, because this is just the beginning of an incredible new chapter for Me and My Golf. We’ll see you out on the fairways, in our videos, and across our socials, ready to show you exactly why this partnership with Titleist is such a big deal.

Our picks for The Masters are locked and loaded, and if you share our excitement, you’ve likely been counting down the days. The Masters is a high point in the golf season for us, especially after the chill of winter in the Northern Hemisphere. It’s a celebration where the enchantment of golf aligns with the bloom of spring, and we couldn’t be more ready. Yet, this is more than just a spectator’s joy; it’s an exploration into the essence of what sets Augusta National apart as golf’s ultimate challenge. So, let’s dive right in, shall we?

Augusta National: A Beauty and a Beast

First off, Augusta National is not just another golf course; it’s a sanctuary of golfing legends. With its pristine fairways and devilishly designed greens, it’s where dreams are made (and sometimes crushed). The course is famous for its blooming azaleas, but don’t let its beauty fool you; it’s as challenging as they come. Especially when they keep tweaking it to add a bit more spice to the mix. Remember, it’s not just about power; it’s about smart plays and precision – especially with those irons.

Iron Play: The Key to Augusta

Speaking of irons, let’s talk about why they’re so crucial at the Masters. Augusta’s greens are notorious for being fast and furious. They’re designed in such a way that if you’re even a smidge off with your approach, you’ll find yourself in a world of tricky putts. This is where iron play comes into the spotlight. It’s all about accuracy and choosing the right spots to aim for, not just going flag-hunting on every shot. Get your iron shots dialled in, and you’re on your way to navigating Augusta like a pro.

Players to Watch: Our Masters Picks 2024 Edition

Now, the moment you’ve been waiting for – our top picks for the Masters 2024. These are the players who not only have the skills but also the mental game to take on Augusta’s challenges:

Jon Rahm: After shaking up the golf world with his move to LIV, Rahm’s got more than just skill on his side; he’s got something to prove. And Augusta might just be his stage to remind everyone of his prowess.

Scottie Scheffler: As the reigning world No. 1, Scheffler’s game is hotter than ever. If he keeps his putter warm, there’s no stopping him from taking the green jacket home.

Xander Schauffele: With added length and a solid all-around game, Schauffele’s ready to step up. His calm demeanor and sharp game make him a serious contender.

Matt Fitzpatrick: Don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you; Fitzpatrick’s got the fire and the finesse to make a big splash. His approach game and putting are top-notch, making him a dark horse to watch.

Beyond the Green: Elevate Your Game

Inspired yet? Watching the Masters unfold is more than just a spectator sport; it’s a chance to learn and apply some of that mastery to your own game. And if iron play is where you’re looking to improve, we’ve got just the thing.

Our brand new “Pure Your Irons Plus” is not your average coaching plan. It’s tailored to help you nail those iron shots with precision and confidence, just like the pros at Augusta. Whether you’re looking to refine your approach shots or simply want to hit it closer more consistently, this is your ticket to leveling up your game.

So, Who Are Your Picks For The 2024 Edition of The Masters?

As we gear up for the Masters 2024, let’s remember, despite us giving you our Masters picks, it’s not always just about who wins; it’s about the journey, the shots, and the moments that make golf the incredible sport it is. Whether you’re rooting for Rahm, cheering for Scheffler, or holding out hope for an underdog story, the Masters is a celebration of golf at its finest.

And for those of you itching to bring a piece of Augusta into your own game, don’t forget to check out “Pure Your Irons Plus.” It might just be the game-changer you need to make this golf season your best one yet.

So, grab your favorite golf hat, mark your calendars, and let’s enjoy the ride that is the Masters. Who knows? You might pick up a tip or two that’ll have you playing like a pro in no time. Here’s to good golf, great friends, and a Masters to remember!

FAQs on The Masters 2024 and Iron Play

Why is Augusta National considered a unique challenge in golf?

Augusta National, with its immaculate fairways, notorious greens, and strategic layout, offers a blend of beauty and challenge unmatched in golf. Its design emphasizes precision, especially in iron play, rewarding well-thought-out approaches and penalizing even minor inaccuracies. Its status as the perennial host of the Masters adds a layer of tradition and psychological challenge, as players face not only the physical course but the weight of history at every turn.

How does iron play affect performance at the Masters?

Iron play is crucial at the Masters due to Augusta’s fast and undulating greens, which demand precision. Success on this course is about more than just power; it’s about placing the ball in the right spot to set up viable birdie chances or safe pars. Accurate iron shots can make the difference between a challenging putt and a straightforward one, significantly affecting a player’s score and stress levels throughout the tournament.

What historical moments at the Masters highlight the importance of iron play?

Historical moments that underscore the importance of iron play at the Masters include Tiger Woods’ iconic chip-in on the 16th hole in 2005, where precision and spin control led to one of the tournament’s most memorable shots. Similarly, Jordan Spieth’s 2015 performance, marked by exceptional iron play, allowed him to set a tournament record for birdies. These moments emphasize how critical well-executed iron shots are to success at Augusta National.

Can “Pure Your Irons Plus” really improve my iron game, and how?

Absolutely! “Pure Your Irons Plus” is designed to target the most common issues golfers face with their iron play. It offers comprehensive coaching that covers technique, strategy, and mental approaches to hitting better iron shots. Whether it’s achieving more consistent distances, improving accuracy, or mastering shot shaping, the program provides the tools and insights needed to elevate your iron game to the next level.

It’s that time of year again…but we’re sure you guys didn’t need a reminder! The 122nd US Open starts today at The Country Club in Brookline Massachusetts.

It’s the 4th time this venue has hosted the prestigious competition and we cannot wait to watch every second of it. If the action is half as good as last weeks Canadian Open then it’s safe to say we’re all in for a treat.

But while the players are getting underway, we know you’re all dying to know who we think will be the one to lift the trophy. So we’re breaking down our top picks and why we believe they’ve got what it takes.

This year, I’m keeping it patriotic by backing Matthew Fitzpatrick. Over the last few weeks his performances, most noticeably at the Wells Fargo, have thrown him back into the spotlight, and rightly so.

Plus I think his ability to play on tight courses and his putting on especially fast greens will stand him in great stead for the week. Not to mention his ‘balls of steel’, mean that he’ll be able to cope under the pressure that comes with it being a major.

Andy on the other hand thinks Justin Thomas has what it takes to lift the trophy. It seems like an obvious choice after the incredible battle he had last week with Rory McIlroy, and it’s safe to say that he is in form!

But Andy thinks it’s his ability to work the ball and his great stats (specifically tee to green strokes gained) that are going to be his stand out factor this week. He’s also had the inside scoop from Rory that Justin is one of the hardest working guys on the tour, enough said!

That’s enough from us now though, we want to hear from all of you. Who do you think will be victorious this year? Drop us a DM on Instagram and let us know.

Having hit 11 aces in the last 6 months we think it’s safe to say that British amateur golfer, Neil Watts has to be the luckiest player out there.

(Maybe not so lucky for his bank account though).

The illustrious hole-in-one is something all golfers dream of achieving in their lifetime, and admittedly the odds are much better for the pros to accomplish it, however the sad reality is that for the majority, it will be something that slips their grasp.

Not for this guy though.

Despite the odds being 12000/1 for an amateur golfer to hit an ace, he has managed to do so an incredible 11 times and even more impressively he’s managed to cram it all into only 6 months of golf!

Having smashed those odds we think he should buy himself (and us) a lottery ticket and see if the luck transfers.

His first hole-in-one came in the second half of June 2021, where he aced the 12th hole of the Cromwell Course at Tracey Park.

“I actually saw the ball go in. It was absolutely lovely. It was two bounces and actually just rolled into the hole then” said Watts (CNN, 2022).

His second was soon to follow, just two weeks later on the same course whilst playing during the Club Championships.

The aces have then snowballed, with Watts going to on have 10 aces on par 3’s and even more impressively (if that’s possible) one on a par 4!

When asked about his secret to this amazing feat Neil says that whilst honing your swing and focusing on accuracy is important, it’s paramount to believe that you can achieve the feat.

“Like every time I was going out then I was feeling confident that I was going to get another one because that’s how it made me feel at the time” (CNN, 2022).

Whilst obviously being incredible, Watts says that there has been a downside to all of his success.

Upholding the tradition of buying everyone a drink has burnt a considerable hole in his pocket and now he likes to make a quick getaway whenever it happens!

Would you love to have the same problem as Neil, hitting too many aces to keep up with?

Well we can’t guarantee the ball will tip that last half turn into the hole, but we know that by following our Ultimate Irons coaching plan that we can get you a whole lot closer to the hole in the first place.

For a limited time we’re offering you all 50% OFF a coaching plan of your choice if you use the code SOCIALSECRET50 at checkout.

So why not treat yourself?! And while you’re at it maybe take out some ‘hole-in-one insurance’ too! 😜

From today, millions more golfers around the globe will have access to affordable, flexible and elite golf coaching via some of the biggest retailers on the high street and the web.

We’re delighted to announce a global deal that will see six of our best-selling coaching plans stocked by Amazon, American Golf, Golf Galaxy and Mail Order Golf, and a range of other top retailers – a world first for digital coaching products.

Golfers will now be able to buy the following coaching plans in-store and on the web, as well as on meandmygolf.com:

  • – Total Driving
  • – Ultimate Irons
  • – Complete Putting
  • – Break 100
  • – Break 90
  • – Complete Chipping

And that’s not all! In 2022, we are going to be launching our own branded training aids with up to 5,000 global retailers. Stay tuned for more information on that over the coming months.

This is all part of our mission to bring accessible, affordable golf coaching to anyone who wants it, regardless of their budget or level of ability. Because quite simply face-to-face lessons are out of reach of many people.

Andy says: “No one understands the value of face-to-face golf coaching better than us given our experience and the fact that we still love coaching players like Aaron Rai.

“But everyone knows lessons aren’t cheap. The only people who can really take advantage of in-person coaching are those who either have more disposable income or are having to make significant sacrifices to afford it.

“We don’t think that’s right, and we don’t think we’re going to see golf continue to grow in popularity until there’s a mainstream, affordable alternative on offer to help golfers play their most enjoyable golf.”

Piers says: “Our online coaching plans are the closest you can get to being coached in person by us but at a fraction of the cost. If you were to work through these programmes with a coach, you could expect to pay upwards of £1,500 for the same material. Why should elite coaching only be available for minority? Why shouldn’t the average golfer be able to play golf feeling confident and empowered like others do following lessons?

“Our online plans teach you all the concepts, drills and techniques you need to achieve your specific goals via video, accounting for all of the various swing faults we see. It means golfers can take charge of their own practice and gain flexibility and freedom to practice whenever and wherever they like.”

Anyone who purchases a plan from a retail partner (not on meandmygolf.com) between 15th October and 31st December will automatically receive the coaching plan Secrets to Lower Scores (RRP $99) free.

They will also be automatically entered into a competition in which they could win a full set of TaylorMade irons, a private lesson with Piers and Andy or one of five pairs of Adidas golf shoes.

Before we start, these were not easy to pick at all. Aside from our own picks there’s a number of golfers which can’t be ignored this week.

A fully-fit Brooks Koepka would be hard to ignore in California, especially given his track record at US Opens. You would also be silly to completely rule out the top two ranked players in the world right now in Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas, despite their lack of form.

Firstly turning to Piers’ pick, Jon Rahm claimed his first PGA Tour victory at Torrey Pines some four years ago and although the setup this week will be much tougher, familiarity could prove key in the Spaniard’s quest for his maiden major. Many argue that Rahm has been the best player on tour this season and given how he performed in the first three rounds at The Memorial Tournament, it’s hard to look too far past him.

For Andy’s it’s 20/1 pick Xander Schauffele. His T2 finish at The Masters just again highlighted how strong the 27 year old is in the majors and his gritty determined attitude seems to be popular both in and outside of the ropes. In each of his four US Open appearances to date, the American has finished inside the top 10 every time, further highlighting why many now rate him as one of the most consistent players in the game.

Many have said that getting the putter hot is going to be crucial for the players this week. Is this something you need to improve? Then take advantage of our very special LIMITED TIME OFFER* below!

*Offer ends 12:00AM BST on Tuesday 22nd June.
